Connect Zenvi to GoHighLevel
Push every new chatbot lead straight into your GoHighLevel sub-account as a contact, no API key, no OAuth app, nothing to install. It reuses the same lead automation webhook already built into every Zenvi chatbot, pointed at GoHighLevel's own Inbound Webhook workflow trigger.
Step by step
Create a workflow with an Inbound Webhook trigger
In your GoHighLevel sub-account, go to Automation > Workflows > Create Workflow (start from a blank workflow). Add a trigger, search for "Inbound Webhook", and add it. GHL generates a unique webhook URL for that trigger, copy it.
Paste that URL into Zenvi's lead automation webhook field
In your Zenvi dashboard, open the chatbot you want connected, scroll to Lead automation webhook, paste the GHL webhook URL into the field, and click Save. That's the entire Zenvi-side setup, no API key, no app install.
Send one test lead so GHL learns the payload shape
Open your chatbot's widget (the "Test chatbot" button on the bot's detail page), have a quick conversation, and leave an email address, that fires a real lead event. GoHighLevel's Inbound Webhook trigger needs one real payload before it can show you fields to map.
Map the incoming fields to GHL contact fields
Back in the workflow, open the trigger again, GHL now lists the fields from that test payload (email, firstName, lastName, phone, name, botName, lastMessage, conversationId, leadId, botId). Map email, firstName, lastName, and phone to your contact's matching fields, then add a "Create/Update Contact" action after the trigger using those mapped values.
Publish the workflow
Turn the workflow from Draft to Published. Every new Zenvi lead now creates or updates a GoHighLevel contact automatically, in real time.
GoHighLevel's exact menu wording can shift a little between accounts/plans, look for "Inbound Webhook" under workflow triggers if the steps above don't match exactly. This is a standard GoHighLevel feature available on their workflow builder, not something Zenvi adds.
What Zenvi sends
Every new lead (from a chat conversation or the widget's email-capture form) fires one JSON POST to your webhook URL, shaped like this:
{
"botName": "Acme Plumbing",
"botId": "clx1a2b3c4",
"leadId": "clx9z8y7x6",
"email": "visitor@example.com",
"name": "Jane Doe",
"firstName": "Jane",
"lastName": "Doe",
"phone": null,
"lastMessage": "Can someone call me back about a quote?",
"conversationId": "clx5m4n3o2"
}firstName and lastName are split automatically from the visitor's name specifically so they line up with GoHighLevel's contact fields, every other field matches what Zenvi already sends to Zapier/Make, so nothing changes for an existing automation if you also use one of those.
Delivery reliability
Lead delivery to your webhook never blocks or breaks the chat widget for your visitor. If GoHighLevel is briefly unreachable or returns a transient error, Zenvi retries once automatically before giving up, a dropped delivery is logged on our side so it's never silent, but it's never a problem your visitors see either.
What this does (and doesn't) do
This is a one-way push: Zenvi to GoHighLevel, triggered the moment a lead is captured. It does not read anything back out of GoHighLevel, and it does not require (or store) any GoHighLevel API key or OAuth connection, the webhook URL itself is the only thing you share with Zenvi, and it's stored the same way any other owner-configured webhook URL is.
A deeper, two-way native integration (e.g. syncing contact updates back into Zenvi, or using GoHighLevel's calendar/opportunity API directly) would need a real GoHighLevel Private Integration or OAuth app and location ID, that's a possible future addition, not something this webhook-based integration needs today.
