Add Zenvi to your Wix site

Wix has a built-in way to add third-party scripts across your whole site without touching any code files. The exact menu wording can shift a little between Wix versions, so look for either of the terms below rather than an exact match.

Step by step

1

Find Custom Code in your site settings

From your Wix dashboard, look for Settings, and inside it a section called Custom Code (sometimes shown as Embeds or Embed Code depending on your Wix plan and editor version). If you're using the Wix Editor directly, you can also check under Add > Embed Code on the page, but the site-wide Custom Code setting is the better spot since it only has to be set up once.

2

Add a new custom code snippet

Choose to add a new code snippet, paste in your Zenvi embed snippet, and give it a name like "Zenvi Chatbot" so you recognize it later.

3

Set it to load on all pages, in the Body

Set the snippet to apply to All Pages and to load in the Body, end of page (not the Header). This makes sure it loads after the rest of your page content.

4

Publish your site

Custom code changes don't go live until you publish. Click Publish, then open your live site (not the editor preview) to confirm your chatbot's launcher shows up.

If you can't find a Custom Code option on your current Wix plan, look for any setting described as adding third-party or tracking scripts, it's the same feature under a different label.

Your embed snippet

This is the exact line you paste. Your real snippet has your own chatbot's widget key filled in automatically, find it on your live preview screen right after you build your chatbot, or anytime from your dashboard under Website integration.

<script src="https://app.zensebot.com/zensebot-loader.js" data-zenvi-key="YOUR_WIDGET_KEY" async></script>

Don't type this by hand, copy it directly from your dashboard so the widget key matches your actual chatbot.

Test your widget

Open your live site in a normal browser tab, not a preview or editor view, and give the page a few seconds to fully load. Your chatbot's launcher should appear in the corner of the screen. Click it, type a real question a customer might ask, and check that the answer sounds right. If nothing shows up, clear your browser cache and reload, or double-check the snippet was saved in the right place and that you're looking at the published version of your site, not a draft.

Still stuck? Email us with your site URL and we'll take a look, or open the chatbot on the Zenvi site itself and ask it, it's trained to walk you through this exact step.
